3D Programming ???? Is It Worth It ????

I am a newbe, and would like to know a little about the 3d channels on direct tv. I now have cox cable, and I am satisfied, but I am wanting to switch to direct tv for their 3d channels. Can someone tell me a little about what they offer, type of programs, sports on espn 3d, collage football ?? Is it the type of stuff offered on Cox " on demand " 3d ?? THANKS

Welcome to SatelliteGuys! I recently upgraded(and got a new 2 year commitment)to get Directv 3D, worth it to me. Be advised that right now ESPN3D is not full time but special events only with Directv (until they and ESPN can work something out)...

I watched the Vancouver 2010 program last night, I would have loved to have watched the Olympics in 3D but this showed speed skating and the pairs figure skating which was pretty cool.
