3D movies on Dish "On Demand".

I'm a little confused. For the past couple of years it's been understood that Dish would not get into the 3D game and decided not to show ESPN 3D etc. I see a couple of 3D movies listed on the On Demand channels. Can the Dish receivers show a 3D movie? Is it 1080P?
