Anyone getting these channels (4dtv) XO 600/601 on Galaxy 10R at 123.0°W

I had my G-10ku dish hooked to my 4D a couple weeks ago and they were working. I currently have it rewired different so I can't give you a current update.

Thanks i was getting XO 600/601 but they seem to be gone now

I remember them, one was UCTV (University of California) and the other was UWTV (University of Washington), I think? Maybe one was the Research Channel....?

Are these channels still broadcasting in DCII? If so, have they moved to another location?

Nothing on there sight that the these channels changed format or moved

I have no idea if the bottom statement is true but it was listed as the reason for changing over to DVB.

" Digicipher II is no longer supported by manufacturers and replacement equipment is no longer available."

I happened to find this article by accident 3-4 days ago because I saw a Powervu receiver listed on Ebay and I wanted to know more about it .

So unless you have a authorized powervu receiver , these channels will no longer be available .

I'll say this much DC II on Ku is certainly disappearing fast , not that there was much but with the announcement of the HITS channels moving to C-band and now these 2 educational channels .... this doesn't look good.

I just happen to blindscan 123.0 west this morning and saw that these 2 channels are not currently encrypted.

11854 V 5.000 ( listed on Lyngsat )

Yes - I ran across them a couple of weeks back. Moved to DVB from DCII.
