322 problem

I just had a new 322 installed last week and when in the point dish function a terrible screetching noise, lasting about 2 seconds occurs. Not sure if its related to the fact that when I turn on the receiver occasionally, that it comes up with the searching for satellite signal. Anyone else having this problem?

Could you clarify? Does this happen on entry to Point Dish, at some specific point in the process? How is your sound hooked up? What are the settings (all of them)?

Are you just talking about the tone? If so, that's a not a problem.

I think its a normal thing, mine does the same thing when it first goes into the signal screen.
