I am attempting to setup my 322 for RV use before I get on the road but I am obviously missing something important. The normal house setup consists of an oval, 3-LNB dish + local HD (65 deg) dish. I procured a Dish 500 and DP (not DPP) LNB for the road but I can't seem to get the 322 to recognize a signal out of the dish setup. My test setup goes directly from the 119 side of the LNB to Sat 1 input on the 322 (not splitters). RG6 cable is in use. Any pointers is greatly appreciated.

:welcome to SatelliteGuys!

With a DP Twin you will need to run 2 lines to a dual-tuner receiver. With the DPP Twin you can use 1 line and the Separator.

Either way, each time you change the dish configuration (# LNBs, switch type) feeding the receiver, you will need to do a Check Switch at menu-6-1-1.

That said, your setup should work, though possibly not reliably long-term which isn't your plan. If the Check Switch recognizes the DP Twin, you can move on to getting aiming tips.

Thank you BobaBird for the welcome and the reply. Exactly as you pointed out, I scrounged up another rg6 cable run and all is working now. I don't want to be bothered with two cable runs during my RV setup so I guess I am now in the search for a DPP. Perhaps I can find a good source for that LNB and a good sink for this one. :) Thanks again!

Looking into some upgrade info
