I previously had a superdish and either the LNB or switch was bad. The dish was replaced with a 1000.2

I attempted to hookup last night, however, the receiver does not show it in the list of available dishes, nor will it find any signal

I have searched thru the forums and read online and have found many articles and posts that this combination does work

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

it will work just fine. You lock signal on 119W (the middle LNB) and then run a check switch.

Now a 1000.4 (Eastern Arc) dish will not work with that receiver but a 1000.2 (110/119/129) will work just fine

I got the new dish up and going, peaking in each, one at a time, i am getting high 70's on 110 and 119, however, i had to hook up port one to the receiver, and then port 2 to the receiver.

I'm not really interested in the 129 sat, but how do i get 110 and 119 at the same time to my receiver. Do i need a switch ?

Thank You. That worked great!! I am getting about 80 on 110 and 76 on 119. Should I ever decide to get HD, any tips on peaking in 129. Im at about 29

on 129 check transponders 17-32 which are CONUS (whole US)
1-16 are spotbeams so you may have low numbers or even 0's on those transponders

My guess is you would need to drop your elevation a shade to peak the 129. Or possibly a smidge to the right. Signal strengh should be mid 40s to low 50s. 311 isn't using it anyways so no big deal.
