301 receiver won't power up

After taking an update from dish my receiver will not power up. What it does is the green light comes on for a few seconds then turns off. I have tried to reset the receiver by holding the power button down and by unplugging the receiver neither worked is there anything else I can try or is it just broken?

call dish have them send you new. your receiver is done there is nothing you can do
