I have a 3000 model dishnetwork receiver that I what to sell. If I put it up I ebay it might not sell. Is there any other way I could sell this receiver?

The 3000 reciever is not worth much at all. It does not have the capability to pick up the 129 satellite, in which for some people local channels come off the 129.

If you do a upgrade with Dish Network, they will offer $10 for it.

That receiver is so old you will have trouble selling it. It was the second generation of DISH products, has very little usable memory and processes information slowly. The circular file is probably the best place for it.

Hmm, what was 1st generation thought ?

1000s, 2000s, 3000s, 4000s, 5000s share same electronis design, used same CPU, ASICs.

If you have the low speed data card for that 3000, it is worth something. The Datatron RV satellite dishes requires that data port. I had a customer switch to DTV to use a Sony B50 becuase their DISH 3000 did not have a data card.

If you go to an RV forum, you might have luck selling your 3000.

I'm would strong disagree counting those x000 models (exclude 6000) as different generations; as I mentioned before all of them share same schematics.
Doesn't matter how Dish claimed it - if you're an engineer, no way to full you !

Good for backup in case one of your receivers goes down. About all it is worth is the cost of shipping to someone.
