3 minute recordings

It has gotten to the point where if I'm not right there watching a recording it might not be there. Why is my dvr recording only 3 minutes of something I have scheduled? Is it a way to get it to stop? Thank goodness for suprnova because without that I would miss my shows.

Three minutes is a significant recording. I get a lot that are three minute recordings.

I was getting chopped up recordings.

It has gotten better since the last software upgrade. My 522 would lose signal intermittently and cause the timer to drop and refire.

Someday E* may fix it. If they ever do, the 522 will be a great DVR.

yeah if they can work out the various issues and give us Name Based Recording.
