3 Hoppers

Hi,

noob here. How do I go about contacting DIRT to get the 3rd Hopper? I contacted Dish, and they said they needed to send it to the "executive team" and that they would call me in 72 hours. Well, 66 hours later, no response, and I am under pressure to get this installed before the MIL moves in. Can someone help?

You are going to have to purchase the third Hopper. Better move would be to buy from Dish Depot. Then take out the Protection Plan and Dish will install for $15.00...as has been reported.

Im curious the motivation for 3 Hoppers? I have 1 hopper and 3 Joeys and the Sling USB adapter.

more tuners allows you to watch and record more stuff at the same time. Each hopper has 3 tuners.

If you have a couple kids and a spouse, three tuners is usually not enough. In our family, one person uses up 3 tuners alone with recordings that happen at the same time. Just depends on the viewing habits in each household.

Picked one up from Solid SIgnal for 209..With sling.
Dish charged me 65

Thanks. I suspected that might be the case. 99% of the time - one is fine for me and the wife, but when family visits, there can be conflicts.
