Viacom HD's by April 1st? Why didn't Charlie just say ON APRIL 1ST? By April 1st of what year may be the better question.

Exactly what I was thinking. But these channels just might be on by Tuesday night next week as I think they are supposed to be live by 12:01AM on Wed, April 1. Did I see that somewhere here? Not on this thread but somewhere in the Dish section of the forums. Probably in the Charlie Chat re-cap.

Agree, but with a caveat.

Personally, I think it may be a combination of Dish and Viacom. I bet Dish is waiting for BET HD to become available. They may be simply repeating what Viacom told them.

I'm sure they'll launch the new channels. But they'll just be slides that say, "April Fools!" And they'll be stretched, not 16x9.
