I don't understand why they would uplink something that is already being broadcast? CI is already national and available to all, they just need to pay to get it turned on their receiver. Making it a freepreview should not change anything.

Because unlike D* receivers, that show every channel they have on their receivers.
The Dish network receivers, Hide Programming that the customer doesn't subscribe to.
So when a free Preview becomes available, the Uplink allows customers receivers to show these channels.

Nothing was uplinked in this report. Some channels just changed authorization tiers.

Yes Too, Since FSN Florida and Sports South are both broadcasting the Florida Atlanta game. Its on 4 channels 2 HD 2 SD.
Looks like most if not all are showing the games on both channels.
Not really sure why it wouldn't?
Blackouts only applies to your own market I thought when dealing with out of market Sports Packs.
That if your own market game was on locally, then its balcked out on the CI channel.
The out of market games don't matter, thats the point of Center Ice

Both teams feed of the game. IOW, you can tune onto a game and watch it on the visiting teams broadcast or the home teams broadcast.

The reason why I asked is because boavista said the Leafs vs Hurricanes is in SD only on Dish and Direct is showing both feeds in HD. I was wondering if Dish carried both feeds. If so, usually one would be in HD.

Thats all I have is 1 SD feed for the Leafs vs Hurricanes.
But You would have to ask someone who really Subscribes to CI, Because E* is known for not carrying all package channels durring its free previews.
I can't tell because where the alternate sports channel are located, they are blacked out unless you subscribe to CI or Multi sports pack. I don't subscribe to either.

Dish usually carries both feeds, but Fox Sportsnet is pretty sparse on HD broadcasts north of the border.

Sure, but the Canes feed was not.

The teams won't share a production truck, and Fox Sportsnet rarely commits to sending a HD production truck across the border. It's the whole reason I invested in Shaw Direct to augment my Dish subscription starting this year.
