Western Digital 2TB AV Hard Drive - Made for DVRs - WD20EURS
Received Jan 2012 as a warranty replacement - it is a new drive - not a refurb, directly from WD.
I tested it for a few days on my Directv HR24 but then continued using my 1TB drive, which I started using when sending my previous drive in for replacement. This drive I'm selling was manufactured Nov 24, 2011.
I am now using a HR34, which has a 1TB drive from the factory, so I no longer need this larger drive.
The drive is under warranty until 09/24/2013, based on the original drive that WD replaced.
This drive is specially made for DVRs, for 24 hour use. It can be installed internally or externally if you add an eSATA case. Antec makes one that works great, the MX-1, I have used on Directv DVRs with no issues.
These drives have come down in price since the flooding in Thailand last year. They are in the $125-$150 range new, but are still hard to find. I am asking $100 plus shipping cost - however you want it shipped.
I ask that you pay via paypal with the gift option to eliminate the 3% fee.
