Say I throw a bud on my 2700A, will it do analog and digital on C-Band. (Can't find the book that came with it.)

NO, will only do Digital DVB signals!

You would need an analog receiver for analog signals. I use the Toshiba TRX-1520 for analog!

Not really, mainly sports and feeds.

The picture quality is really good, but well worth the $20-30 for an analog receiver come winter sports season :up

So, Pansat 2700 and 3500 will only do digital, and will there are digital signals up there in C Band that you won't get with a KU lnb?

So, to get "everything" you need both a 6" + dish + an analog receiver + analog lnb + a digital lnb?

The same LNB (C or KU) will work for analog or digital. So you need 2 LNBs and 2 dishes. Or one motorized setup like PSB has with a C/KU LNB. Or a regular BUD.

one LNB does both digital & analog. So for C & KU (both analog & digital) I have

30" motorized for KU
6 foot for C-band
Coolsat 5000
toshiba TRX 1420 for analog

and as long as I have LOS and a decent signal, I can get most 4:2:0 feeds (not HD and not 4:2:2 because the Coolsat doesnt do that)
