24 will repeat during summer for the first time

For the first time in the show's five-year history, summer reruns of "24" will air on FOX this year. The no-bathroom-breaks adventures of counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) will begin again Friday, June 16. Back-to-back episodes will air each week for 12 weeks, ending right about the time the network rolls out its fall schedule.

I never could get into this show, but with all the summer reruns perhaps I'll take another look.

This is great news as I missed season 5. I have been watching the DVDs and just finished the 4th season. Do you know if they will be uncut and in HD?

I got hooked on "24" in the fourth season. There's no denying it's interesting and suspenseful. But for me, I find watching the reruns boring, maybe because I know what's going to happen.

You gotta love Kiefer as Jack "DROP THE GUN!" Bauer. Also Chloe O'Brian and the cross-eyed scowling thing she does.
