If the Hopper gets a hybrid signal (from either a DPH42, or DPH LNB)then yes, that will work. Otherwise, like if you have a DPP LNB, the H3 will not even acknowledge its existence and won’t work (older Hoppers would altleast try to get one tuner running on something as old as legacy, not the case anymore with the H3). Do a [Menu > 6 > 1 > 3] on the 211k, if the box that says device says something like “Hybrid 1K.2” then your good, if it’s “DPP 1K.2” then no.I need to temporarily use my Hopper 3 in a location that already has a 211k. Can I just disconnect the 211k and connect the Hopper 3? Thanks.
