My 211k doesn't show a screen saver when I turn it off. I get a blue screen on my tv like nothing is hooked up to it. Is this normal and can I get the screen saver to work when the box is off

Just tested a 211k here with HDMI cable and got the screen saver. I also don't see any known issue about this. How long has this been happening? What type of cable are you using?

Do you have any other cabling to try like RCA? Also does it go through a VCR/DVD player or anyother devices?

Curious, why do you have a 722 and a 211 hooked up with coax?
If you only have SD TV's, why don't you have SD receivers?

On the eastern ach there is no SD receivers.. And on all most all new connects we rarely put in SD receivers.
I have two 722ks and 1 211k. I have one on a hdtv and I did have a 625 and 301 and a 622 but had to get all mpeg 4 equipment when I upgaded to a 722k. I get 110/119/61.5/72
Kikenovic is right, just tested here and got a blue screen when hooked up via coax.

The 722k is a DVR and never turns off. The 211k is a standard receiver (even though you can turn it into a DVR) the coax mutes out when off.
