Hi guys,
This may be a stupid question but I have two 211's and a 622 dvr and I have tried to get the HDMI output to work on all three units at seperate times, all I get is snow or a blank screen.
Is there something that I have to activate or turn on in the set up menu of these units ?
Since all 3 units are doing the same thing I am guessing it is something I am not doing rather than all 3 units having the problem.
I have tried them with just the hdmi cable hooked up & also with the composite cables and rca jacks hooked up. ( the composite and rca jacks for sound does give me a picture & audio )

In the case of my Sony TV, the digital input (HDMI) is "Input 6", and I need to select that input. Is that the case with your TV? There's nothing in the 622 that you need to set-up to at least get an output from the HDMI. Even with all the HDMI problems reported, especially with the 622, I agree it's hard to believe you have digital output problems with all 3.

Welcome, BTW...

Like bhelms said, just press the (Input, Source, TV/Video or whatever is called in your TV) button to change the input and you should get the picture from the receiver.

Thanks for replying so quick guys.
I have it on the right input, i also have it hooked into an hdmi switch box as well as trying to run it directly to the hdmi input on the tv.
same result with all.

Have you tried a different device going to the HDMI port in your TV? It could be that the HDMI port on the TV is dead but I doubt it. 3 bad HDMI ports, man don't play lotto.

All HDMI ports are fine on the tv (2) and all 5 on the hdmi switch are fine. I have picture with the dtv dvr & cable dvr as well as the toshiba hd dvd.
