21.0 remote.. can't learn new command for SAT mode??

got a 21.0 remote and want it to learn a command for the TV, but want it available when the SAT mode is functioning. figured I'd use one of the colored buttons since those otherwise seem unused with my 622.

BUT, I can't get it to learn in SAT mode.. I hold the SAT button down til all modes blink, but holding RECORD does not get SAT mode to turn on...

works in TV/AUX mode just fine.. but then the key does punch thru to SAT mode... so I'd have to switch modes, hit the key, then switch back.

Any ideas?

And/or is there some other key from "TV" mode that I could program which would punch thru to SAT mode?

Sorry.. The 21.0 remote won't accept learning commands in SAT mode..

Ok, so do anything other than VOLUP/VOLDN/MUTE punch thru from TV mode? (ie. I could re-program that, if so)
