Excellent period of hockey for the Wings while the Bruins played very uninspired hockey. But it's only 1-0 and there are two or more of hockey to go.
Tuuka, I have been very impressed with, he's played very solid thruout the series.
I bet Marchant is wondering how he missed that open net earlier.
As for Gustavsson, this is his 1st Playoff start ... but, has beat the Bruins twice this year.

IMO games 4 and 5 are where things (i.e., tempers) get heated. Looking forward to an excitement-filled second period.
Yes, I think both of them being in there is a big deal, just for the help in size against the much bigger Bruins.

I was really expecting the Bruins to have a full out press in this period, but the Wings have hung in there after a frantic beginning.
Anyone want Johan Franzen, I'll trade him for a bag of pucks ...
