2014 AL Central

I know. That's why I also typed out the numbers. I would've thought it impossible with major league pitching. Maybe that wasn't major league pitching I was watching.

Max quickly settled down and pitched a great game. Tigers win 5-2. :)

Yes, after the 1st batter(HR), he settled down and pitched very well.

I just don't know if we can count on the Tigers offense ... at least thats the way I feel at this point of the season.

I think we still need a big bat (Nelson Cruz would have helped).

In case you missed it ...
Tigers Released SS Alex Gonzalas, thier Opening Day Shortstop.

They also brought up Danny Worth from Toledo, for what it's worth, Worth is hitting .305 at AAA Toledo.

It's nice to get a win this afternoon. Regardless, the Tigers open a 3-game home series against the White Sox tomorrow. Elsewhere in the AL Central, the Royals are on the road at Cleveland and the Twins will be down in Tampa Bay on Tuesday.

The Tigers bats are exploding in this 3rd inning the way most of us think they should. It's nice to finally see them lighting up that scoreboard.

Nice to see---or in this case not see---Miggy get an HR and some RBIs. Unfortunatley, MLB Network has elected to show the stupid Yankees-Red Sox game nobody wants to see instead of the Tigers-White Sox that everyone wants to see. I am nobody and everyone. ;)

Unfortunately, it appears the Tigers have fallen into a bad tendency that they had a few years back ....
That would be giving up run in the 1st inning consistently ....
They don't have the offense they use to have, so this has to STOP.
