Oscar Schmidt(NOT "Oskar) was an ASSISSIN in the Reggie Miller mode but MUCH MORE physical. When I lived in Puerto Rico in the early 80s, all the Latin countries participated in the Pan Am games and as always, the basketball games were always the highlight. And this guy would put on a show. I am telling you he HAD to be the MOST lethal shoot I have EVER seen...EVER.

Can't believe that Bernard King isn't already in the HOF. When the Celtics won the championship in 1984, the Knicks took the Celtics to 7 games in the second round. If it wasn't for King, the Celtics sweep the Knicks (although Hubie Brown did outcoach K.C. Jones).


Bernard King was one of the best pure scorers that I've ever seen.

Very proud of former TN Vol Bernard King finally getting into the HOF. Folks around here still talk about the Ernie and Bernie show (Ernie Grunfeld and Bernard King).

I believe you are correct sir. King had a phenomenal playoff run against the Celtics, and against the Pistons in the first round.
