Gumbel and Dierdorf will be doing the Pats game on Saturday night which is bittersweet. It's Dierdorf's last game but that means I have to listen to him one more time.
Could be worse, much worse, CBS could bring back Brent Musburgler.
in this game it was the turnovers and those are on the players.I remember the bengals before Lewis came in but it seems he can not take this team any further than this. They have and have had the talent to take the next step. Something is holding them back.

Well yes and no. Turnovers also indicates lack of discipline. When it comes to penalties and turnovers that usually reflects on the coaching staff.
penalties yes. even those are mental mistakes, but they can come from lack of leadership and are controlled by field leadership.imo example Ray Lewis.
do you think the Lions or Raiders would lead the league in penalties if Ray Lewis was on those teams?
turnovers are just mistakes not a discipline issue on anyone but the players.
Yes I do. I guess we'll agree to disagreedo you think the Lions or Raiders would lead the league in penalties if Ray Lewis was on those teams?
oh the good old days. those teams were filled with HOFers and yes they were aggressive as hell. and did stuff OF that would get guys suspended for nowadays. The answer is yes. Sorry...but some things may not change. The Raiders have ALWAYS been in the top 10 in penalties..even in their Super Bowl winning years...and they had as strong leaders than Ray Lewis. MOST of the time, yes penalties has something to do with lack of discipline...but some times, there players that are just aggressive as hell. And it happens.
and we know some will point the finger whenever possible.Of course not and you never will. Sorry I know you're asking salsita
