Sooo, if the Bengals win tomorrow they will play at New England next Saturday, and the Colts will travel to Denver next Sunday. If the Chargers win tomorrow, they will play the Broncos next Sunday and the Colts will travel to Foxboro next Saturday night.

I always looked at it as overhand vs underhand, but that may not have anything to do with it really ..

When you ran the old Option play and tossed it to the RB before you got hit going down the line ... you pitched the ball and the RVB had to be behind you or it was a Forward Lateral ... not this would be considered a forward pass ? And legal ...

It has always been legal to throw the ball forward, no matter how you throw it, when you are behind the line of scrimmage.

What a way to start the playoffs!! Either way, you'd have to think the Colts will be in another shootout next week.

Incredible Bill. I wanted to see the chiefs win but it seems the football "gods" didn't want it that way. You're up 38-10 and you lose many key starters during a playoff and blow such a large lead? Puke!! Hard one to swallow for cheifs fans....

I was rooting for the Chiefs too, but I like Andrew Luck a LOT so I'm not too disappointed (although as a Pats fan I'm very confused who and what I should be rooting for this weekend).

With the Saints win, the Bengals and Texans are now the only NFL teams without a road playoff win.

Any other year I would have been very disappointed with the Eagles losing.They had an awesome season,gained a new coach,and a franchise QB,things are looking bright for next year.Can't believe the Cheifs choked again.

I believe that's the first 1st round playoff win for the Aints. I think it ends for them next week in Seattle however. You never know though.
