2011-12 NFL Playoffs

The Lions defense just fell apart in the 2nd half. 2 INTs thrown by Stafford also killed the Lions' chances as well. Oh well. The Lions' season may be coming to an end, but I'm sure they'll do better next year. The team will be healthier and the running game should definitely get improved next year as well as the defense. Looking at their schedule for next year, I'm sure they'll make the playoffs again (and hopefully the Super Bowl.)

Hopefully they will draft a secondary ..... that can cover and TACKLE .

One last post regarding my local Lions, the second half was the most frustrating part. Watching Brees complete passes is one thing, but the lack of tackling and inability to stop third down was the most frustrating part. Which I think should put Gunther cunningham a bit on the hot seat.

In regard to offense, having this years draft pick mike louhser, I spelled his last name wrong will add a bit of a power back.

They mentioned on the Fox NFL Pre-game Show that the Denver Broncos might bring Brady Quinn in the game for 3rd down situations & have both Tebow & Quinn in the backfield at the same time(on a side note, now that Josh McDaniels is in New England, what do you think of the possibility that Tim Tebow could go to the Patriots if he fails in Denver, especially today?).

Does anybody else besides me see the total irony of that Pepsi Max commercial featuring the New York Jets?

How about those Subway commercials showing Michael Phelps consuming all those calories like he has the munchies? :D

Not many people commenting on the Giants-Falcons game. I guess everybody is waiting for the [potential] "slaughter" of the Broncos at 4PM EST(3PM Central/2PM Mountain).

I'm not so sure they're going to get a win, much less a slaughter, with all the injuries the Steelers have.

If the Broncos defeat the Steelers,Tebowmania will percolate.if the Broncos follow it up with a defeat of the Patriots,Tebowmania will be steaming. If the Broncos follow that up with a defeat of the Ravens, the kettle will explode on Tebowmania. I still think that the Super Bowl winner will come out of the NFC though.

I said it a couple of weeks ago, and it's worth repeating: the Giants can be very dangerous in the playoffs!

You know they started off slow today but rebounded. The defense worked hard today but the Packers is going to be a tall order.

I thought last year's AFC Final Four (Ravens-Steelers and Jets-Pats) were monster matchups, but this year's NFC version is every bit as intriguing!

Finally, the fight I WANTED: Cotto vs. Mayweather!
