I didn't hear that Kronwell was thrown out, till now, that makes it all the worse.
The official that called it should be fined and suspended.

Why for doing his job, obvously he saw it first hand in real time. Bad call or not, he must have seen the puck away from the hit. Also, why is it detroit fans are willing to ignore the penalty's when their not against them but as soon as things go the wrong way, all the detroit fans start crying.

Once again without Osgood detroit is an Average team at best. If it wasnt for Osgood I dont think detroit would be where they are at today.

So the Hawks get the first period at home, they had too.
Wings win the next two periods and it's a mute point.
I just hate to see a team in the box all period, there is no flow to the game that way.

Half the minutes the Wings were in were given to the Hawks as extra minutes ....
They should be up about 4-0 at least.
Ozzie's playing well once they woke up again.

Are you serious? Osgood sucked all season long, yet they got the #2 seed. Do you even know anything about hockey? You act like a bandwagon fan..

Average team? True colors are shining now..BTW as a Wing fan I would a penalty is a penalty, but making up rules as you go along is not how it is supposed to be, I hated to see Havlat laid out on the ice like that, but the bottom line is you skate with your head up.. They called the play interference, which is not cause for a game misconduct..I get the fact that all non redwings fans hate them, it comes with winning cups in 4 of the last 11 years, but now your wearing blinders dude!!!

This was NOT a penalty, is why everyone is so upset.
If you know the rules. if the puck is there, your allowed to be hit.
The puck was there, in his feet.

The play made that layed out Hudler in the last round was much worse, the puck was all the way to the boards and they never called a penalty ...
the chickenshit Ducks coach said, it wasn't even a second late .... do you know how far a puck can travel in one second ?

Hopefully, we'll get 6 or 8 minutes of make-up penalties in this game...because the refs sure didn't call the tripping and take-down (interference) penalties on saw committed on Hossa. It all evens out in the long-run...just don't see how a 2-minutes high-sticking turned into a 4-minute high-sticking, and I certainly don't see how a legal hit turns in a 5-minute major, game misconduct, and ejection when Havlat failed to keep his head-up.

The hit on Havlat was certainly a good one but, to be honest, there are at least a dozen just like it during these playoff games. The players have to keep their heads-up when they have the puck or they're gonna get knocked senseless. Everyone knows this...except this particular ref.

Anyway, period 2 should be an interesting one.

There won't be makeup calls , they already got this game in the books. Maybe next game, maybe...
