Why did this game have to start at 9 pm instead of a normal time of like 7pm which would be 8 CT

Saturday evening and West Coast, I guess. Personally, I am just thankful it didn't start at 10:30 pm.

and the CBC has the game

They're not gonna start the game at 8:00 which would be 5:00 on west coast...I also think the CBC wanted more viewers if it started at 9:00 (6:00 local)

I messed up, I was thinking it was a Hawks home game when I posted that post.

Yes, 9 pm is MUCH better than the dreaded 10:30 and sometimes 11 pm game times

Wings are playing poorly and the Ducks are playing well...3-2 Ducks after the 2nd period. I have to run out for a while so I will have to watch the 3rd period on the DVR. I just hope I don't accidentally hear the score while I am out.
