Yes and No .....
The Wings are a MUCH younger team than the one that won last year and the previous time as well.
When the Wings came into the playoffs, there were 6 players that were injured and the youngsters came in and did great, almost so well you have to think twice about taking them out when the experienced guys came back.
But if Lidstrom retires, he is getting long in the tooth, they wont be as good IMHO.
In all fairness, the Pens won the cup on their ice, they weren't happy. People don't like Sid because he is the face of the NHL. I hated Gretzky, but I had Mario on my team.

I think he's 38-39, Chelios is 47, Nicks got a long time to go at that rate.

See here's where most don't like Sid and Alex,they get ALL the attention, other teams can play much better , and never get the coverage, it will always go to those two guys.
I rally wish Bettman would retire, he;s the one that started the PUSH the individual player, vs the TEAM aspect.

No, I use an antenna on the roof, I've been watching the Digital signal for about 8 years now, but wanted to be on the analog side just to see when it went out.
I rescanned this morning and all was well, all channels came in as expected. Consequently, the digital signal I was watching never needed to be rescanned after they went out tonight. I was slightly surprised.
They are both young and will improve and their teams will improve.
Kinda scary thinking how young the core of Penguins players are. Fleury is only 24, been to two Stanley Cups and won one, a goaltender doesn't shine till he's 28 or 29.
Plus we all know Sid, Geno, Staal will also get better. Then and the young offensive defense men we have.
Yup and like Yzerman , Zetterburg and Datsyuk will play second fiddle there entire career.
Wings will need to bring in a goalie in a year or two .... other than that they have alot of young guys and I expect a few of the vets to step down.
Chelios and maybe Draper, although, he can come back as far as I'm concerned and Maltby could move on as well ...
How old is Hossa, he may be moving on as well.
Wonder if the Pens would take him back ?
