2009 Specials (air dates and preview trailers)

Since Series 5 won't start until 2010, the BBC is doing a set of Special for 2009.
Each special will have the Doctor travelling without a regular companion, and will instead have a 1-time temporary "companion" in the episode.

These are being treated as additional episodes of Series 4.

November 2009 - "Waters of Mars" HD

Guest stars David Morrisey, who plays the title character.

The Doctor encounters him in Victorian England along with this new Doctor's companion Rosetta.

Planet of the Dead

Guest Stars Michelle Ryan as Lady Christina de Souza

The Doctor and Lady Christina, along with a bus full of passengers find themselves transported to a desert world.

UNIT makes an appearance, with Captain Erisa Magambo (last seen in Donna's parallel world in "Turn Left") commanding.
