I was going to switch to paperless billing and heard that you get a $20 rebate from Directv. There is no where on the website I see this mentioned. Is this still going on and, if so, how do you do it?

Stonecold confirmed it.

I called in to a CSR....she said she thought it was $5...she checked in and said it was $20 if done in the first 60 days of service (same as Stonecold says). Takes a while before the credit hits the account first.

I just switched on line to paperless billing. Here is to hoping that this credit makes it through.

I learned real quick with Directv to get whatever they offer to you in writing. They forget their promises real quick!! lol

Is this another promotion for new subs? The old time subs get screwed again. :(

Yeah, weird. Why in the world would this be worth $20 to directv for a new customer to do it within 60 days but not for existing customers?

Unless they're advertising it as a promo to make their new customer discounts look sweeter. "AND...if you sign up for autopay you'll get free HD service, AND...if you sign up for paperless billing within 60 days we'll give you $20!!!1!!"

I just went back to paper billing since it looks like Showtime wants an original paper bill for their $25 rebate.

Many people have today off as a faux 4th of july holiday day off. Hell, I didnt even get mail delivery today.
