20.0 IR Remote interferance with Tv

Has anyone figured out a solution for the IR Remote interference with Plasma and LCD Tv's? besides using a 21.0 IR/UHF TV 1 to fix it!

some have had luck by turning off the backlighting or powersaving in the menu on the tv itself.

Yep, but never recall such problems with Plasma.

cover up one of the eyes on the IR of the receiver... 722 for example has 3 spots of the IR just cover each one with a finger and try to change channels. Normally I've seen the middle one needing to be covered with a pc of tape to avoid the issue with TV's causing the IR not to function properly.

It's the ambient light sensor that causes the issue. Shut it off on the TV and profit.
