1. Does anyone have a spot-beam map for Directv's new Ka MPEG4 satellites at 99, 103 deg. locations ? I already have Ku beam maps.
I'm particularly interested in the west coast region: California SFO bay area, to Nevada boundary at Lake Tahoe.
2. I assume by its model name, that the H20 MPEG4 STB is in fact made by Humax. According to press releases, LG will also bo selling an MPEG4 STB.
I've been impressed (on paper at least; I have a Toshiba DST3000 HD STB) with the LG (branded Sony) MPEG2 product. Any knowledge about forthcoming availability of LG MPEG4 STB in northern CA markets ? Are the Humax and LG boxes actually the same circuitry/chipsets; and Linux OS ?
