I have 1 DIsh with 2 LNB's on it and I have 2 receivers.
I'm using one discq and one sat with the 2 lnb's but want to add a 2nd reciver.
how would I hook up the 2 recervers to get the 2 LNB's at the same time ?

Do I need 2 discq's ??

thanks

yes you would

I assume the 2 LNB's are duals...if so, all you do is run one output from each LNB to a DiSEqc switch and then to the receiver...repeat for other LNB

What size dish are you using? How did you get the 2 LNB's together?

they are 2 standard single Lnb's strapped together on a small 18" dish the only thing I had laying around I slapped together.

I did pickup a 39" dish and a LNB and stab motor but as of yet have not installed it yet (have not got the time yet).
I also have a 8.5' BUD on my roof I installed 12 years ago but the H to H motor is dead or my IRD switch is bad it does have a C and KU LNB on the BUD but I havent used it in years it's stuck I think on G3 ?
I try to hide the dishes on the back side of my roof so the Niegbors don't get to mad

This is a learning process for me just another electronic hobby

thanks

I've read a lot of reports of people destroying their delicate little diseqc switches by connecting them with their receivers powered up.
If you go that way, be careful.

For a more substantial switch, I think Sadoun (above) has the right stuff.

Either way, your LNBs will need two outputs, each.

Any use for Directv receivers?

Oblong vs. round dish.
