2 cities for local stations

I live in Chicago and go to Knoxville, TN quite alot (2 weeks out of the month) My family lives there. I bring my box back and forth so i can watch tv. Do you think that Direct TV will give me local stations in both cities or just the one.

whatever one your physical address is set up for is what locals you will get. With spotbeams pretty small now, you probably couldn't take your box with Chicago locals to KNoxville and be able to see Chicago locals still

As Ice said only 1 set of locals is allowed not by D* choice but by Federal Law. Directv would love to sell you the extra programming but they just aren't allowed to. DISH is about to turn off Distant networks because the NAB won a court case against them for selling the signals where they weren't allowed.
