I've read that indeed thats what those channels are, MTV and Spike HD.. however its not the actual HD feed. I read it was like an Mpeg4 1080i channels but the actual tv siginal was from the SD channel so i dont think will see those tomorrow unless dish changes the feeds tomorrow

So as soon as we get all these "proposed" or "anticipated" channels, let's all start complaining we don't have the Torpling Championships channel in HD.
I had replied this answer to a similar post in another thread... 4812 and 4813 are indeed MTV and Spike. So it was half right
And I'll ask the same question I asked to that other reply: Source?
Only 2 groups know: Dish Network corporate employees involved in channel negotiation or engineering, or hackers/those that visit hacking sites. Which are you? I'm hoping your the first group, or just are repeating a rumor.

The way I call it is if you don't have a picture to show with the channel info at the top from a DishNetwork receiver then you have to be hacking. Which we all know hack talk here is not tolerated. Don't make me bring out the Ice!
Well, I didn't see any report of the content of the other TMP channels. So, those may be in consideration either way.
Let's get them first.
One thing to consider: if indeed the FOXNEWS and FOXB launch on Monday was a "mistake", why were they the only channels so made active? Were they by any chance the only channels scheduled to go live today?
Speaking of reactions, what do you think people will say if we get no new national HD today?

The only hack talk going on here has been accusations or assumptions, which I had addressed in another thread that I was not. If it's inappropriate to post info I have visual knowledge of, that is okay, just say so, I was just trying to give back to a community which has given me some early info. Nothing along the line of hacking has taken place on this end. Still, I apologize to the forum, and I don't want there to be any question whatsoever on this matter, so I'll keep out of all further discussion.

But one thing: just saying your not a hacker is not enough when you are presenting information about channels in testing mode. We'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now, but it would be simpler if you just gave a source.
