Getting a little tired of all the Western markets getting their minor locals in HD...

I haven't kept up with Eastern Arc satellites, but in the case of the channels just added, they are all spotbeams that have been sitting around idling for many months - so it is just a case of the uplinks having been added.

My guess - just from the comments - is that Dish is still waiting for another satellite to be launched to Eastern Arc.

Also why the heck are these smailler markets getting their locals before us i live near chicago and we have not see our pbs locals,univision,telefutura,telemundo in HD.we have been waiting for a long time for ours.

I don't know, but getting annoyed seeing smaller markets getting their locals in HD over bigger markets. I know why they are doing it, but still annoying.

Not to worry..... we here in Dothan AL are doing our part to support the BIG markets by remaining HD free for all our locals.

Maybe oneday we will join the Big boys in local HD.

BOWL shows NY News @ 5 on the guide

Looks like it's on a 3 hour delay. Shows News at 5pm at 8pm on the epg.

I'm still waiting for my main locals to be in HD!! This is a DISH problem not a local channels problem as all 4 of the station managers have told me they send DISH the HD feed for their stations.

It's not a delay, it's KNBC and there is no programming, just the guide info.
