1m Prime Focus Portable (Possibly Nokia?) - South Wales. UK

1m Prime Focus Portable (Possibly Nokia?) receiving 4.8E Nordic Beam RTR Planeta here in South Wales, this beam is meant to be out of reception area here in South Wales but in reality I am on the very edge of reception with a 1m so a great catch on such an old dish.

Interesting, I've seen that channel on a satellite over here before, but can't recall where it is. Or was. It's fun to try for the fringe reception birds.

Yes it's part of why I enjoy satellite trying to catch satellites that are not meant to be able to be received here.

But I used RTR Planet (its actually RTR Proper minus the soccer) as a test since I know what I should be able to get since the prime focus dish is a new one for me.

Plan to take her to an open field soon and try for some some blocked by houses and trees here.

Wow I didnt even see that! I thought it looked familiar for some reason. Prime-focus.
Late 80's when I got my first dish, it was a 5' C-band patio mount setup like that one, and I've been hooked on satellite tv ever since.

Yeah the photo and screenshots are obscured by the videos.

Think I'm going to love this dish a lot.
