129 skew?

I have an old dish 1000 with a triple yoke for 119,110,129, is that the same as a 1000.4? what I want to do is just use it for 129 only, can I just put a single lnb in the center slot and not worry about the skew? Will a single yoke with no skew be better? I have EA but am not to happy with 61.5 and I have LOS for just 129 not WA. I would like to compare them to each other for awhile to see which is best for my locals. If I get that one going for 129 then I can have a choice of both EA and WA since I still have a 500 with 110 and 119 that is set up also. I only have a single line from the 129 spot so I don't want to pay for WA install, I just got the EA for free 2 months ago. I have a 44 switch to connect everything to.

The 1000 is similar to the 1000.2, but used a twin and single LNB (or 3 single LNBs) to pick up 110, 119 and 129. The 1000.4 is used for the Eastern Arc (61.5, 72.7, and 77). For a single satellite, you wouldn't need to worry about the skew, just set it at 0 and aim straight at 129. If your 500 has a DPP Twin, it has an input port for a third satellite, and if connected to the 129 dish, would create a WA setup. One thing about the arcs, local programming including sports channels tend to be arc specific.

Thanks, I have the EA and the 500 on pole mounts with 4 lines from that area and 1 line from the roof which is the only LOS for 129 or WA. If I get the 129 going I'll have 6 sats and inputs for 4 sat's, I'll have the choice of any of them, I've noticed a difference between 72, 77 and 110, 119 as far as the skip back bug on my 722, so I'll take turns using EA and WA and see which works best. I think the 110 and 119 look a little better for SD but I'm not sure yet, is there a technical reason that would explain that or am I seeing things? I recorded the daily show in SD off EA and then the next night off 110, 119 and there was a distinct difference in the pic , 110,119 was better, clearer and more color.
