Is there some thread that I have failed to find in my search that has the 129 allocation of services/channels?

Using lyngsat, they seem to have the some of the locals listed through September 6th, but they have nothing on the Voom channels or anything else.

I read somewhere that some West Coast stations were moved to 129, but do not see those listed either.

Is there a better update listing of the 129 layout that is updated pretty consistently?

Also, are any of the 129 Transponders Spotbeam or are they full conus?

Thanks

heres the deal voom is on 129 as of right now and many wing slots from both 148 & 61.5 as well as 105 and 121 have moved there.. from select markets.. i think the ekb is updated regualrly with the listings..

Thank you for the info - very helpful :)

Looking further at the chart from my very rough counts, it seems:
1) Does 129 have any Spotbeam? Or is everything Conus?

EDIT NOTE - THE LIST THAT WAS HERE WAS LATER NOTED AS INACCURATE DUE TO A MACRO ON THE WEBPAGE - SEE BELOW - THUS I AM REMOVING IT SO SOMEONE DOES NOT STUMBLE ON IT AND USE IT AS REFERENCE.

Would be good benefit for ppl who reading your speculations, if you will read a couple threads at DBSTalk dedicated 129 W E*5 satellite and will remove non-existing transponders and channels. Pay attention to that pictures from spectrum analyzer screen and check real bandwith occupied by particular channels. I'll help you by posting current HTMs.

What kind of signal levels are you guys getting from 129? I think Scott reported mid 70's and 80's depending on the transponder.
I tried it today and I get mid 70's here in the West coast. That seems kind of low compared to 148 where I was getting 100's and 90's on same transponder with a Dish 500 and a dual LNB.

Is this a low powered satellite? Just wondering.

Aplogies everyone! The 129° list was totally inaccurate! When I made it origianally I was in a hurry and made one gigantic mistake in the macro that screwed the thing up. What was happening is all the mirrored channels from 61.5° were showing the 61.5° transponder. The 148° mirrors were okay.

After reading this thread, I realized what had happened and finally fixed the sub-chart. The big chart is accurate. It was just the translation to the 129° sub-chart that was goofy!

The 129° list is accurate now (I hope!). :)

Once again, I am very sorry for the confusion!

No problem. I appreciate your efforts in the chart and pointing out the correction.

Personally, I continue to grow from mistakes and learn from them - no harm no foul.

Time to correct your chart :) - take a look what I got now.
EDIT: Tp21 is OK.
TP13 is also doesn't show any muxed packets.
Tp12 have too many errors, seems there is technical problem.
