learning to set up dish 1000, have a 311, can not lock 110 have 129 119 at 120 signal running 47 dgrees at 116 skew at a 75161 area code would be grateful for any imput.

possible that you are 9 degrees off and have 119/129/138 targeted by the dish, perhaps move it to the left 9 degrees. Another way to test is to put your hand over the 119 LNB in the middle and see if you lose 119 or 129. If you lose 129 you are over too far.

Peek the dish 1000 on 119 only.
Usually there is a problem locking on 129, but you've got the reverse.
We have found with dishpro plus lnbs that the center copper cconductor needs to be longer than normal. Take your cell phone to the dish and just slightly push/hold the dish to the left with someone at the point dish signal strength set to 110, transponder 11. You are probably just a bit too far right - it won't need to be moved as far as 9 degrees. A slight elevation increase may also help.
