I took some time to check about this, but I don't know if I have discovered anything that will be of any value.
I have a Hopper 3 (I don't know if it matters, but on the front it also states "with Sling") that has feeds from 110, 119, and 72.
In order to try and be as accurate as possible, I first tuned in to channel 11 (which does have a signal), and then one-by-one I tried all of the channels on the previous list that weren't getting a signal, starting with 13, and going all the way through to 68 (after trying each one, I went back to channel 11 and waited for it to come in before going on to the next one).
I waited until the error message popped up, and then went to the Dish Diagnostics screen to see which satellite and transponder were listed. All of them first showed 110, TP 05 (which corresponds with channel 11), and then the information switches to 119, TP 15.
At first I just wrote that down and was prepared to move on to the next channel, when I noticed that the information had changed again, and subsequently started changing regularly. I tried a few more channels, and noticed that all of them did the same thing.
I then suspected that I was seeing a pattern, so I went back to the first one and started writing down all of the ones listed. After doing several channels, I realized that they indeed were all following the same pattern.
I then started timing how long they took on each one. They kept switching until they would get to 119, TP 20, so I thought that was where the pattern ended. However, with only two channels to go, I needed to walk off to do something, and when I came back, I noticed that they had started changing again.
For the last two channels, I wrote down the additional changes. The first time, the cycle ended with 72, TP 25. The last time, it ended with 110, TP 10 (I left it on that screen for over 15 minutes, so I feel pretty confident that it was done).
Some of the additional changes after 119, TP 20 would occasionally flash that they were locked, but I didn't make notes of which ones.
