Which JVC? Some only accept 1080p/60 or convert 1080i/60 to 1080p similar to earlier Sonys.

Does it support 1080P/24fps? I think your TV has to support that. There are some TV's that only support 1080p/60. I had a JVC once it did not support 24fps.

Resolutions>

Make sure 1080P is selected, the menu set-up may vary depending on receiver model.
