1080P VOD

Hello everyone!

I have a Sony 46 inch (kdl-2500v46) which has full HD capabilities, up to 1080P.

When I tried to view a test from DTV, I received audio but no video - black screen. I could not exit the movie or do anything. I had to turn the unit off and restart it so I could maneuver around again.

I have the HR22 and the settings for TV resolution are all marked, even the 1080P box.

I have HDI cable and as far as I could see, everything is set up properly.

Anyone else have this problem? With a VOD 1080P test, should the receiver be able to at least show it in 1080i? I am very confused with this and any help will be appreciated.

There are known issues with Sony HD TVs and 1080p. We know that DirecTV is working to correct the issue, but I haven't seen when a fix will be implemented.
