I have a strange problem with my H20. During the day, I'll have signal on 103b at 80+, then some nights, it will drop to 0-50. What could be causing this?

I've thought about having D* come out and do a realignment, but not sure they'd be able to do much since the signal is so high during the day.

MAYBE and failing LNB or bad RG6 connectors/moisture getting in? In any case, still a tech call; so you were already on the right track.

I've had similiar issues. My odd transponders on 103(b) keep going in and out. Now they think all I need to have do is ground the multiswitch (which they are again going to change again).

Well, I hope they get it fixed. They will be here on Tuesday to try to figure it out. They are going to have trouble though, since the signal doesn't usually go out until 12am or so.

If they don't find the real problem in the first place don't let them leave with out swapping out the LNB.

At least you will know thats good.
