1000.4 on WA

I hope I'm not double posting but I can't find my first post. I brought my 1000.4 to 33570 and can't see EA where I am. Will it work on WA and if I can't get 129 what will I miss?

no it wont work. The LNB spacing is different on EA versus WA

EA is 61.5/72/77 so 10.5 & 5 degree spacing
WA is 110/119/129 so 9 & 10 degree spacing

129 is the HD sat for WA

Thanks, do I need to find a 500 dish and dual lnb to get 110 and119? I don't need HD nessesarily?

Should run $20-40 on ebay then just attach it to your 1000.4 in place of the EA LNB.

If you are having 129 difficulty, setup EA. 61.5 and 72.7 should give you all channels in HD except internationals which are on 118. On west you get 61.5, 72.7 on the black EA dish correctly. I couldn't get a lock on 77 with the other two sats on west.
You will be missing the locals though if you use the EA dish.

Even though HD isn't a big deal I agree with Joshua and Boba to get the WA lnb. Even if you don't subscribe to HD your locals and any premium channels (HBO, starz, etc) will be).
