So you won't be back until 2019? Take that Death Star.I've had my $10 deal for at least 3 years without having to renew and got the termination date. good by HBO till GOT comes back!

I was told when I got HBO for $10.00 that I would keep it at $10.00 as long as I stayed with DISH. I got it on two of my accounts. I asked and was confirmed that I would keep it as long as I never cancelled DISH. If this is true I will go back to getting large discounts from the loyalty department on my accounts and skip the two year price deals. I came out cheaper doing that anyway.Just chatted with a dish rep, at first I was told the price was permanent, then was transferred and the September 20th cut off date was confirmed. My current plan is to let it increase on the 20th, call them to cancel, and see if retention’s is willing to offer anything. Not that $5 is a deal breaker, $15 hbo is still better than $12 Netflix or prime, it is just the sneaky way they went about it, and I definitely remember agreeing to a $10 for life offer. Also the lack of boxing this summer is concerning, seems like AT&T may already be causing problems.
Well, Dish must have known that this was coming, since they recently went to the trouble to revamp the screen-saver on the Dish receivers to remove the HBO ad that used to be there.
I love HBO series tv but I'm not going to pay $15.00 for a premium service with just a few shows I watch. Premiums should all be $10.00 or less, because they are not the only service offering movies you can see just about every where. So HBO will definitely take a hit in my house. This may come back to bit AT&T in the butt.
The regular price for HBO is wAAAY to high - I would never pay it, I have paid the $10 in the past.
I think they may actually see a revenue hit from this hissy fit.
I really hope so.

I watch Bill Mayher Real Time every Friday and Last Week with John Oliver on Sundays , Curb your Enthusiasm , Divorce, VEEP series. I don't really watch it for Movies unless I just come across one I didn't see at the Theater . This is one of the reasons I don't watch Series on other premiums because it would require you to keep their service. Once I drop HBO , I won't watch their series either. I will NOT pay $15.00 for HBO period! They play the same recycled movies over and over. Only thing I watch on HBO is Westworld.
I don't complain about the price, I just don't buy it.

I watch the talk shows too, not the movies on HBO. If HBO for $10 ends 9/20, I will also drop it.
