Any idea why the 6 that are ready to go, have not be turned on yet? How long have those been uplinked?

First, we don't know if there is actual video on these 6. Second, have the feeds from the source to the uplink facility been completed and tested. Third, have the contracts been signed. Details, details, and more details.....

Yep, lots of pieces to the puzzle. Uplinking them is only one small piece.

So there is not any way to tell if there is anything on these 6 channels?

Those that have TSReader can monitor the streams to see if they are constant or variable. Variable rates would indicate content. Constant would indicate just a slate or test pattern.

also if they are scrambled channels and have no EPG info we really cant tell what they are
