1 year later

It has been alomost a year since my first post and at that time I was looking for someway to get the following Southern California (LA) feeds- KNBC, KABC, KCBS, and FOX, living in western New York. From what I gathered, there was no way. So 1 year later, is there anything that has changed that would allow me to recieve those stations in New York? Any and all information is appreciated.

Get DirecTV installed in a RV then bring the receiver inside your house and plug it into a dish and you'll have NY and LA locals if you asked for them with the RV service.

That is the only way that I know of. Well, there is 1 other, get your DirecTV service address set to somewhere out of the range of locals and that DirecTV does not provide locals for.
