Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me. I've been combing through this board & through the internet & have seen many recommendations on how to make this happen. I want to know what is the best solution.

I have Dish 1000.X that provides service to my main tv (HDTV in living room). It connects to the VIP 622 receiver. As you know, it has the ability to service one other tv through an RG6 connection. I have my HDTV in my bedroom currently connected by the RG6 connection.

Here is my problem: I want to service a total of 4 or 5 tvs. I have 3 HDTVS (living room, office, & bedroom) and I want to connect one to my computer/pvr. I do not want "channel cloning." I would like to watch 4 or 5 different things at 1 time. What is the best way to make this happen?

I do not want to purchase another receiver. I would rather split the signal to save time, money & effort. The most important thing is to receive service to all tvs. The second important thing is to receive HD service to the 2 other tvs not currently receiving it.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

You can't split the signal from your existing 622 and watch 4 -5 different programs. (you can if you watch the same programming - even in HD-with a good component splitter)

You need one or two more 722s.

What you're asking for cannot be done unless you order 1 or 2 more dual tuners receivers.

If you turn the lights down, and play some romantic music, you might be able to get the two tuners in a 622 to mate, and produce little baby tuners in a few weeks. After they grow to maturity you will be able to tune separate satellite signals on them.

But I could split the "TV2 OUT" to 2 different tvs, correct? They would display the same channels, but it would be doable ... ?

The 622 allows both tv1 and tv2 to be outputted through the rf out allowing you to view the other tuner by changing the channel on the tv. But any HD program or channel would be down rezzed sd and not true HD whether you are viewing tv1 or tv2.

When will sat 129 be replaced?
