I'm only going to say this one more time

Again please keep all your questions in regards to the Galaxy 6 foot dish or others in comparison in the same thread. Makes it so much easier to follow

You've asked this question a few times and if you go look at the answers in this thread you'll see there are already answers. I have 3 of these 6 footers. One is fixed at 99W, one is ghetto moved and one is for KU. If you look at thelist on the C-Band side, everything posted there except maybe Satmex5 at 116.8 was picked up by me here in Minnesota with a 6 foot dish. Satmex5 I havent tried in a while but I know there is a possible tree obstruction and Satmex5 has always been a pain to get in the Northern states due to footprint.

i have the 6ft special and can't figure where to place the inclinometer to get my elevation...it is a stationary rig,i tried putting it on the mount it self and not the bar on the up ring, correct me if i am wrong.

hi folks...i installed the 185cm prime focus dish and its working great.i added a powermax 24 actuator motor run by a sprinkler 4 wire to the v-box and then powered by a pansat2700a...all is clear with 80-85% signal...instructions were poor so it took me about a month to install...i took my time and purchased a pole from lowes home improvent...this pole required diameter of 2-5/8 so i put a lift jack pole.ran rg-6 wire.....dish had no elevation marks ,so i purchased an inclinometer for $12 at sears.getting lots of sats...i will post more updates soon.

hi,dougruss i purchased the 6ft special with a dmx741u and can't figure how to set the focal on this baby.my focal should be 0.38 so how do i figure the numbers on the side of the 741u..i won't be able to set it up for a day or two because of the weather, but when i get a break...it's on thanks for any help or suggestions

hi, on the 6ft special,is the elevation true to the teeth or do you have to go higher or lower for the designated satellite that you choose,i have been using an inclinometer on the mount and have used it on the cross bar and still get no signal. where is the correct spot for the inclinometer?

The 6 foot panel dishes are prime focus dishes, meaning there is no offset and the dish points directly at the satellite. I usually use the flat face of the dish directly below the feedhorn for my inclinometer readings.
